Cogent sponsored car #89 wins first place at the Hythe Motor Speedway

Ron Larson, driving Cogent sponsored car #89, won first place yesterday at the Hythe Motor Speedway in Alberta. This season's Wescar Challenge Series is eight races long with stops in Vernon, Prince George, Quesnel, Williams Lake, Terrace and Hythe Alberta.

Larson drove for Darren Swaan in the race. Competing in his first complete Wescar Season, Swaan has already made his presence known, winning first place in July at his home track in Quesnel, British Columbia. With only one race left at the PGARA Speedway Park in Prince George, Darren remains a strong contender for the Rookie of the Year Award and races to a strong finish this season.
