Cogent is the Proud Recipient of the 13th Annual DCRS Award

Richmond, British Columbia - April 04, 2008 Cogent Industrial Technologies Ltd. (Cogent) was the proud recipient of a DCRS award at the 13th Annual Cultural DIVERSEcity Awards for Business celebration on Thursday. The awards were determined based on several criteria including cultural expertise, community participation, employee initiatives and marketing strategies.

This year's event was held at the River Rock Show Theatre in the City of Richmond and was presented by the DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society of Vancouver. Each year the Cultural DIVERSEcity Leadership Council, comprised of professionals in the business sector, recognizes local companies that encourage and incorporate cultural diversity in the workplace.

About the DIVERSEcity Community Resource Society (DCRS)

The Society was established in 1978 and will soon celebrate 30 years of service to the community. DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society is a non-profit agency offering a wide range of services and programs to immigrant and refugee communities including family Services, community development, language programs, career services, interpretation and translation services (Language Store) and other fee-for-service programs.
