Information Technologies

Intermediate/Senior Industrial IT Developer 
Cogent is seeking intermediate or senior developers to help expand our industrial information system solutions.  You will need to develop a wide range of solutions that may require you to learn and work with unfamiliar technologies such as proprietary database systems.  There may be web, mobile or windows applications including the design and building of RdBMS structures to support them.  Candidate must have a degree in computer science (or equivalent), a good experience with vb.Net or C*.Net, and a good command of the English language.  We are looking for initiative and a passion for building innovative solutions using a wide range of technologies. 

Intermediate/Senior SharePoint/.Net Developer
Cogent is seeking an intermediate or senior SharePoint developer for the design, development and administration of SharePoint solutions.  Candidate must have a degree in computer science (or equivalent), experience with asp.net, VB.Net, or C#.Net, and a good command of the English language.  We are looking for someone who displays initiative and has a passion for building innovative solutions.

Systems Administrator
 
  The candidate must have a minimum of three years working knowledge of network, security, Windows Server, desktop and mobile operating systems.  Knowledge of virtualization, Exchange server, Web application hosting and office desktop is required.

The candidate is required to possess a college diploma or equivalent in Information Technology. Current Microsoft certification is desirable.  Knowledge of HP, Cisco, Dell and SonicWall products will also be of great benefit to the potential candidate for this position.   Working closely with other team members, the Candidate is responsible for the technical aspects of client support and installation of the client site server and network equipment and performing general systems administration and security functions for clients.

Engineering

Junior/Intermediate Control System Engineer
The candidates will have 3+ years of control system experience with strong PLC / HMI and communication knowledge of PLC5 / Control Logix, Wonderware and RSView systems. The candidate will have the ability to see the project through from the preliminary design to commissioning and start-up support.

Intermediate/Senior Controls Engineer
The candidates will have 7+ years of control system experience with strong PLC / HMI and communication knowledge of Siemens S7, WinCC and Servo Systems.  Experience with Rockwell, RSView32 and Wonderware with VBA or similar scripting language is required along with solid plant network architecture design and configuration of database systems. 

Maintenance Management 

CMMS Specialist

Cogent is seeking a CMMS Specialist to join our team in developing a sound and practical maintenance system solution.  You have experience with initial setup, implementation and system upgrading of a computerized maintenance management system.  You also have experience in planning & scheduling techniques and maintenance of business workflow processes.  You understand and can work with development tools for database configuration, logic scripting and report generation.  You will also be responsible for the quality of asset data input, including procedures and spare parts inventory into a CMMS system.  You have a general understanding of operating activities such as purchasing, repair, preventative maintenance, asset hierarchy and condition based monitoring.  You possess appropriate formal education/ certification and a minimum of 2 years experience with computerized maintenance management system administration and can travel legally to the US.  You have strong interpersonal skills and can conduct training and work with end-users to resolve problems


Business Development

Manager of Business Development

The candidate will have 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years of sales experience.  The candidate will also have strong technical knowledge of Automation and Industrial IT.  The Manager of Business Development will work directly with Cogent’s senior management team to build on existing client relationships and develop new business in current and targeted industries.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.

  
Corporate

Manager of Operations
The candidate will have 10+ years experience or will have completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.  Preference will be given to MBA, BA or CMA designations.  The candidate will have demonstrated leadership in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.  The Operations Manager will work to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and communication within the Company through the development and execution of operational plans, analytics, reporting and best practices. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are a must.
